upgraded

After a year of hard use, I upgraded my beloved Melie Bianco Maurissa satchel.  It is well known among bag fans that the Maurissa is “inspired by” the Mulberry Alexa.  Pretty sure the Alexa was part of the long-term satchel plan, but I just lost interest along the way and started searching for a less pricey alternative.

Here it is - Dooney & Bourke Florentine Small Satchel.  It looks a lot less like the Alexa than the Maurissa, but that makes it fresher and more interesting for me.  It’s beautiful thick leather, is well-built and has a digestible sticker price.  Plus, it’s an early birthday present, so the guilt factor is negligible.
